There are three rounds in the test
1)Written test
2)Group Discussion
3)Techincal cum HR Interview.
The selection Process is little bit difficult.
Written Test:
US Technology has changed its pattern .The Quoestion paper was lengthy but quiet easy. It consists of 90 quoestions and time limit is 60 min. quoestion paper consists of 3 Sections and u have to clear each section seperately.
Quantitative Apptitude: 20 Quoestions
The topics are from R.S aggarwal concentrate mainly on Time and Work(3 quoestions) , boats and Streams,Profit and Loss,Interest,Average.
Verbal ability: 30 Quoestions
This is the sections where u have intelligently manage your time because it consistes of 5 Comphrension passages 2 are very very lengthy (one A4 size) and remaining 3 are very small. and comphrension are very easy (simple english).
Logical Reasoning : 40 qouestions
This section quiet easy .u have to aplly your common sense . follow RS agarwal Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning. no need to Study all the chapter
Sequences-4 quoestions
Puzzles- 7 or 8 quoestions
Blood Relations-10 quoestions
Directions-5 quoestons
calender-2 quoestions (RS agarwal quantitative apttitude)
clocks-4 quoestions (RS agarwal quantitative apttitude)
In puzzles quoestions are based on arrangements like siz people has to sit in a row according to hieght wise A is in middle and C is 2 positions right to D like this.
quoestions like a student rank is 15 from first and 43 from last in a class. what are total number of students in the class?
At 12 clock both the hands of clock are in north east direction and at 4:0 direction of minutes hand is?
a point is in north direction then it is rotated 135 degrees in clock wise direction and 60 degrees in anti clok wise direction what is the direction of hte point?
quoestions are simple u just had to maintain the time only. I some how able to see my marks in written test i scored 8 in qnatitative, 12 in verbal and 18 in logical so the cut off is very low and i got selected in this round.
Out of 475 Students only 158 students got selected in this round.
Group Discussion:
This is a round of mass elimination . They just selected 1 or 2 people from a group of 10 students. so out of 158 students they selcted 28 students only.
The topics are very general like
1) Reservation in Higher education
2)Abortion should be legallised
3)Current episodes of KBC who is better in presentaion? Amitabh or Sharukh
4)Work more Pay less.
Remember that dont talk so much in GD .Just speak only 2 or 3 points and remaining pretend that u are listenin to others carefully. Eye contact is very important while talking and dont look at Panel of judge.Keep silent when GD becomes fish market(so much of noise). Keep this point in mind these are very important becaue this round is main elimination. If u got a female judge then she will observe these very carefully and she looks for strength in ur matter and if u got male it wont be so difficult.
one more time keep in mind dont talk so much and keep silent where GD becomes fish market. They havent selcted people who are speaking very much they selected people with 2 points and good in listening.
Interview:
Interview wont be so difficult . For CS and it they will be asking more Techinical if u mention JAVA be careful beacause the company mainly works on Java plattform only if u are non CSE,IT student better dont mention any Computer subject. If u are an electronic student they may ask some electronics quoestions like Digital etc.
Some common HR quoestions like Tell me about yourself, Your Role Model, Why IT field etc..
So the process is some what difficult but have a good chances of growth when compared to other MNC companies. Work hard and Practice GD.

US Technology Paper General - other JIIT Noida - 8 February 2007 Paper - 22
The critera was 63% and no 10th and 12th there will be a apti paper of duration 1hr.. and will comprise of 3 section
Section 1: Ques on data sufficiency
Ques on time and work, boat and stream, profit and loss(succsesive discount were given have to calculate the overall discount
Section 2: English long passages....
total 4 passages were dere.. out of dem 2 were very short and two were long passages of about 1 and 1/2 pages. try attemptin 1 big passage and 1 small first and if time go for the others
Section 3: Ques frm puzzle test (r.s aggarwal non verbal)
go thru the logic chapter of r.s aggarwal non verbal its imp was asked in infy also. ques frm codin decodin
2 ques on series were given that 2 binary.....like(1,100,110,1000,1001,1010..)
Ques of rank type like (ramesh rank 5th in class frm top and 23rd from bottom so how many students)
There was individual cut for every section so try attemptin all d section..
After test 158 were shortlisted for GD Mind it GD round was (main)eliminating round

6. There is a shortage of tubelights, bulbs and fans in a village - Kharghar. It is found that
- All houses do not have either tubelight or bulb or fan.
- exactly 19% of houses do not have just one of these.
- atleast 67% of houses do not have tubelights.
- atleast 83% of houses do not have bulbs.
- atleast 73% of houses do not have fans.

7. A soldier looses his way in a thick jungle. At random he walks from his camp but mathematically in an interesting fashion.
First he walks one mile East then half mile to North. Then 1/4 mile to West, then 1/8 mile to South and so on making a loop.
Finally how far he is from his camp and in which direction?
Answer:
The soldier is 0.8944 ~ 0.9 miles away from his camp towards East-North.
It is obvious that he is in East-North direction.
8.A person with some money spends 1/3 for cloths, 1/5 of the remaining for food and 1/4 of the remaining for travel. He is left with Rs 100/-
How much did he have with him in the begining?
Answer: Rs. 250/-
Assume that initially he had Rs. X
He spent 1/3 for cloths =. (1/3) * X
Remaining money = (2/3) * X
He spent 1/5 of remaining money for food = (1/5) * (2/3) * X = (2/15) * X
Remaining money = (2/3) * X - (2/15) * X = (8/15) * X
Again, he spent 1/4 of remaining maoney for travel = (1/4) * (8/15) * X = (2/15) * X
Remaining money = (8/15) * X - (2/15) * X = (6/15) * X
But after spending for travel he is left with Rs. 100/- So
(6/15) * X = 100
X = 250
9. 12 members were present at a board meeting. Each member shook hands with all of the other members before & after the meeting.

the test paper ll be very long.. u cannot complete the paper in 90 mins…
the 30 apti qs ll be vry long qs.. some qs on train,percent, etc.. logical qs…
series ll be there u try to complete 15 correct….
then in verbal….
u ll find long comperhensions… meanings….. senstence correction…… etc… u ll not find time to completed this also…
u do not read the comperhensions… they r very long… u try to answer meaning and other small q… qs with 2 or 3 line…..
the meanings for words ll be from GRE books… words from letters v, x, m, r, etc.. u better see to all words..
this cut off ll be enough for the clearing this round
in GD…
if u clear written then u r 90% placed….
in GD.. u should not shout… be normal.. try to express ur idea in a calm way…
they just see ur place in a team.. how u adjust in a team… they ll not select if u
fight in the GD….
Be Cool and u ll clear it…..
8 in batch… out of that… 3 to 4 ll be selected…
In interview
this ll be very cool… the HRS r very cool persons… they just see ur confidence..
tats it…. there ll be not technical qs… one r 2 many be there.. but ur

us technology visited our campus on 16 AUGUST...
around 550 appeared for apti.....151 cleared apti...87 cleared GD ....finally 57 got name in the selected list
and i was one of them.....
THERE IS NO BOND in this comp...
US Technology is a SEI-CMMi and PCMM Level 5 company.also it follows Six Sigma practices in developing customer-facing processes. US Technology strictly follows the security standards laid out by BS 7799 and ISO 17799.

sectional cot off... in our college ...quanti 19...eng 27....so manage the cut off...

GD is very simple...5 out of 10 are taken....only u have to be confident....

my advice 2 crack the test is 1st attempt english as most people dont

actually this depends on ur luck wen my gd was taking place in d prev
batches the entire grp was rejected or only 1 was selected etc but its
only relative performance tht matters.......in my grp 4 were selected.

other topics were is reservation necessary 4 women?

There were four batches for the test and two on the day we appeared almost 750 in a batch for the first day means for first two batches they recruit almost 180 students... i was in 3rd batch... and from batch 3 and 4 they recruited almost 55...So totally out of almost 2500-3000 students they appointed only 230...
Overall there are three parts of selection procedure

3. Interview (Specifically neither Technical nor HR, depends solely upon u that how u mould the Interviewer..)
As usual there written test paper consists of two sections:
Totat Time 90 mins, Total questions 82, sectional Cut-off, cut-off same for all branches, Aptitude cut-off 11 and English 20, nothing Technical.

It was my no.13 (Unlucky) campus interview, organized by NIVL , pooled
Campus held at CIEM College. Cut off marks 70% in Sem, probably all the streams are allowed .
1. Written Exam:
It was a 3 day process , At first PPT which was very very good, enjoy it. Probably 2000 students were there each day may be 600 to 800.
Section1:
30 question from general aptitude and math , from time and distance, boat & stream, problems on trains , work & time, puzzle on sitting arrangements, most are from Agarwal’s book, a puzzle on car something like 6 cars 6 showrooms but intentionally the question was incomplete to kill time most of them are very easy
Section :2
There were 4 big sized passages but easy at all , don’t try to read first. At first look at the question and then try to find out the choices, 10 questions from each passages 5 questions on Article& prepositions total 45 questions.Total time: 1 hour.
2. GD
Total 600 students are selected for Group Discussions. Written and GD are at same day I cracked the aptitude exam and selected for GD. 10 students in each group total time is 8 minutes and for some other batches it was only 5 minutes.
My GD topic : Reservation of castes in Education
Other GD topics were Black and White, Red and Blue, Whether GD is necessary in campus interview process or not, UN’s roll on attack of USA on Iraq most are from very recent topics, They generally looking for good communication skills. The topic was generally selected by students if they have no choice then they give very odd topic so try to select one topic before enter into the GD room. Generally 3 guys r selected from one group.
3. PI
Total 273 selected for PI .10 students are selected from our college, Luckily i was one of them. My interview was non technical and GR. It was very nice and the interviewer was very friendly, He told me don’t call me sir, ask me just by name (Shankar).The questions are
1. Tell me about yourself?
2. How many interviews you have attended earlier? What happen there? Why they didn’t select you?
3. Your achievements in life?
4. Your aim in life?
5. Why you want to come in a IT company though you are from ECE?
6. Do you have any questions?

hi every one ,i faced the selection procedure on 30 and 31 jan. i would like to specify that the pattern was different from the pattern discribed in previous sample papers.
there was a written exam of 1 hr having 90 questions.
it was divided in to 3 sections.

Quant app.-20.
Logical app.-40.
English section was having 5 reading comprehension passages,they were lengthy but fairly easy.logical part was very easy just like cake icing,the main limiting factor here was time.....so look out for that.cut off was not declared so no gusses.........and yes there was no negative marking .
abot 1400 students appeared in written and about 450 of them were selected for GD round which is elamination round,i would suggest to prepare well for this round .
160 candidate were selected for inter view round. interview was very easy ,they were generally asking HR question ,very basic ones.about 80 students were selected at last

General - Interview JIET, Jodhpur - 29 October 2006 Paper - 14
US TECHNOLOGY PAPER ON 29th OCTOBER AT JODHPUR
Hiiiii,
All D Best 2 u all for ur campus. As I faced d selection procedure for US Technology Resources, i m going to describe it here for ur convenience. Mind It Tht this is NOT A BPO or CALL CENTER. Its purely technical company having a BPO section. Our interview was for software development.
Day 1: The very first activity by the company was PPT. The smart company persons presented their company. Each and every candidate was allowed to attend it.
After PPT, there was a written test for 90 Mins. having 82 questions.
Out of these 82 ques., 32 were of general aptitude, mathematics. For these questions, R S Agarwal is sufficient.
Another 50 questions were of Verbal ability, in which 4 looooooong pasages were given and questions related to them were asked.
Mind it tht these passages were not jst simple passages, these were to check ur thinking ability and ur direction of taking the problem.
But no doubt passages were too long even 1 passage was long as 2 A-4 sized papers.
the test held apprx. 1-2 pm. About 5-6 pm, the result was declared and apprx. 45% candidates got selected.
the next round was Group Discussion. this also held the same day. the topic for GD which we attended was
---Should Political parties be there in colleges or not?---
The mentor was totally devoted to checking the verbal ability of the candidate and no doubt leadership characteristic too.
A gud command on english and u can clear the GD if u r not having strong opposition.
Well, I cleared GD too. Now the next step was the interview. I can,t say it as purely HR or Technical Interview.
Day 2: The next day was sunday, bt company persons were there before the candidates. The interview was goin to be held 2day.
My Interview:
This was d most interesting interview I faced. I went to the interview room, which was having a glass door.
Through d glass of door, I saw in the eyes of interviewer with a pleasent smile. He also smiled in reply and here I got a half job.
Since we have made the environment very easy, I was not so much nervous. I asked him to come in and entered the room. May be a 7 yard
distance was der frm door to his table. He wished me GOOD MORNING, I said in reply GOOD MORNING bt after seeing watch, i founf tht I was wrong b,coz it was 1:30pm. Well A bit nervousness was der on my face as usual. Bt he noticed it and asked me

Me:-No, sir i m not tensed, but a bit nervous.
He:- Why? Is it ur fst interview.?
Me:-Yes Sir.
He:- So Mr. Sagar, tell me the FUNNIEST STORY of this world.I was really got shocked by hearing this. I never expect such question in interview. I thought for 5-6 seconds and suddenly replied with a cute smile

Out of these 82 ques., 32 were of general aptitude, mathematics. For these questions, R S Agarwal is sufficient.
Another 50 questions were of Verbal ability, in which 4 looooooong pasages were given and questions related to them were asked.
Mind it tht these passages were not jst simple passages, these were to check ur thinking ability and ur direction of taking the problem.
But no doubt passages were too long even 1 passage was long as 2 A-4 sized papers.
the test held apprx. 1-2 pm. About 5-6 pm, the result was declared and apprx. 45% candidates got selected.
the next round was Group Discussion. this also held the same day. the topic for GD which we attended was
---Should Political parties be there in colleges or not?---
The mentor was totally devoted to checking the verbal ability of the candidate and no doubt leadership characteristic too.
A gud command on english and u can clear the GD if u r not having strong opposition.
Well, I cleared GD too. Now the next step was the interview. I can,t say it as purely HR or Technical Interview.
Day 2: The next day was sunday, bt company persons were there before the candidates. The interview was goin to be held 2day.
My Interview:
This was d most interesting interview I faced. I went to the interview room, which was having a glass door.
Through d glass of door, I saw in the eyes of interviewer with a pleasent smile. He also smiled in reply and here I got a half job.
Since we have made the environment very easy, I was not so much nervous. I asked him to come in and entered the room. May be a 7 yard
distance was der frm door to his table. He wished me GOOD MORNING, I said in reply GOOD MORNING bt after seeing watch, i founf tht I was wrong b,coz it was 1:30pm. Well A bit nervousness was der on my face as usual. Bt he noticed it and asked me

Me:-No, sir i m not tensed, but a bit nervous.
He:- Why? Is it ur fst interview.?
Me:-Yes Sir.
He:- So Mr. Sagar, tell me the FUNNIEST STORY of this world.I was really got shocked by hearing this. I never expect such question in interview. I thought for 5-6 seconds and suddenly replied with a cute smile

This was answer which decided the way of my interview. he smiled and appreciated

b,coz tension ruines our future, tension affects our result. If we keep smiling always then we and our colleagues both can work easily.

I m totally dedicaetd to my work which sometime become my weakness tht i even forget myself, my personnel life.
He:- ok fine, so jst write a progrmme which ever u lik.
i sarted wrting programme, ad he asked which programe u r goin to write, i told i m goin to write prog to calcutate a^b in C
i wrote a program and handed over it to him.
I also explained the limitation of that programme to him.

ROUND 1 WRITTEN TEST
i had my written test on 5th feb.\ the test was of 1 hour...90 questions. it was divided into 3 sections.

each section was having its individual cut-off and you need to clear the cut off of three sections to move in the next section thers no negative marking. the section which is toughest has the lowest cutoff. so better attempt all questions. and a prt of that section on your own. so you can take away the cutoff. manage your time so that you can give equal time to all 3 sections. and attempt atleast 30-40% questions in each section on your own in each section.
overall out of 200+ only 59 could make it to the next round.
ROUND 2 GROUP DISCUSSION
well i had the GD round after waiting for around 5-6 hours of written test. GD is simple. all you need to is just follow all the GD norms. the people at US TECH are real nice. they just tried to make a cool and friendly environment before GD so that all students feel comfortable.
GD was around 8 minutes.
we get the topic "Cinematic Dance Should be banned in college Campus" other batches also get some easy ones like "reservation", "big & small", "big & small company" all you need to show is your communication skills and how you represent your knowledge. they check your confidence level and leadership qualities. just speak 4-5 times and a valid point can take you to the next level.
out of 59 only 25 were selected for the interview.
ROUND 3 INTERVIEW
the most awaited round. i had my interview next day on 6th feb. for all branches interview was technical. they just check your confidence level and if you can match company requirements.
my interview was as follow....
Int: give your brief introduction
Me: well i described it using my best.. i used my academic percentage as my main weapon. took 2-3 mins
Int: a simple puzzle...there r 2 friends who drinks at a place. one drinks fast and other takes it sipping. one person died after both had drink. investigation showed their drink was poisoned in equal amount. who & why?
Me i said the one who drinks fast as the quantity of total poison at a particular instant in that persons body is higher than that of other.
Int: i complicate this puzzle .now if the other person died what could be the reason?
wel that was real mind twister...its like u r gng on a highway and then u have too go back to a other road which u have to go after taking a u-turn. u have to start think in in the opposite direction. i took 10-15 secs.. and my smile gave the time
Me: well the other person could have ejected the drink and the drink would have been in the man who died body for a much greater time.
Int: (smiled) well these type of questions odnt have a particular perfect answer. they are their just to check how you can think.
Int: what,s your favorite subject
Me: sir its computer organization and design and analysis of algorithms
Int: ook. so what is an algorithm
Me: i explained with an e.g
Int: what do u mean by optimized algo
Me: well sir i m nt sure but what i think it can be..

Int: what are the biggest challenge for an it professional when he enters into computer field
Me: well sir there can be two...one can be software piracy and other threat from virus worms (explained it bit)

Me: sir the very first challenge would be adaptability......college world to corporate world...new environment...and after that each project from very small to big will b a project till i finish it to the satisfaction level of mine and my seniors level.

I given the test fro U.S technology on 8th febreuary. The company name is strange to me because i heard it for first time. This is small company established in 1999 but growth rate is very good. Company is having only two centres in india and remaining are in US so chances for going to USA is more in this company.
There are three rounds in the test

The selection Process is little bit difficult.
Written Test:
US Technology has changed its pattern .The Quoestion paper was lengthy but quiet easy. It consists of 90 quoestions and time limit is 60 min. quoestion paper consists of 3 Sections and u have to clear each section seperately.
Quantitative Apptitude: 20 Quoestions
The topics are from R.S aggarwal concentrate mainly on Time and Work(3 quoestions) , boats and Streams,Profit and Loss,Interest,Average.
Verbal ability: 30 Quoestions
This is the sections where u have intelligently manage your time because it consistes of 5 Comphrension passages 2 are very very lengthy (one A4 size) and remaining 3 are very small. and comphrension are very easy (simple english).
Logical Reasoning : 40 qouestions
This section quiet easy .u have to aplly your common sense . follow RS agarwal Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning. no need to Study all the chapter
Sequences-4 quoestions
Puzzles- 7 or 8 quoestions
Blood Relations-10 quoestions
Directions-5 quoestons
calender-2 quoestions (RS agarwal quantitative apttitude)

a point is in north direction then it is rotated 135 degrees in clock wise direction and 60 degrees in anti clok wise direction what is the direction of hte point?
quoestions are simple u just had to maintain the time only. I some how able to see my marks in written test i scored 8 in qnatitative, 12 in verbal and 18 in logical so the cut off is very low and i got selected in this round.
Out of 475 Students only 158 students got selected in this round.
Group Discussion:
This is a round of mass elimination . They just selected 1 or 2 people from a group of 10 students. so out of 158 students they selcted 28 students only.
The topics are very general like
1) Reservation in Higher education
2)Abortion should be legallised
3)Current episodes of KBC who is better in presentaion? Amitabh or Sharukh
4)Work more Pay less.
Remember that dont talk so much in GD .Just speak only 2 or 3 points and remaining pretend that u are listenin to others carefully. Eye contact is very important while talking and dont look at Panel of judge.Keep silent when GD becomes fish market(so much of noise). Keep this point in mind these are very important becaue this round is main elimination. If u got a female judge then she will observe these very carefully and she looks for strength in ur matter and if u got male it wont be so difficult.
one more time keep in mind dont talk so much and keep silent where GD becomes fish market. They havent selcted people who are speaking very much they selected people with 2 points and good in listening.
Interview:
Interview wont be so difficult . For CS and it they will be asking more Techinical if u mention JAVA be careful beacause the company mainly works on Java plattform only if u are non CSE,IT student better dont mention any Computer subject. Apptitude basically consisted of 90 questions.. 10 of maths.. tough for me, 30 on comprehension (was quite lengthy) & 50 on logical reasoning(like series,relations,age etc.) although people advise for RS Aggarwal but frankly speaking i didnt refer any book for this appti.. i got selected for the next round luckily
for gd, very general topics are asked.. actuallly we had ppt firstly i.e a representative of that company who wud b briefing us bout his company.. there he had asked ques from us tht "How do you differentiate b/n a JOB n CAREER"? and tht was our GD topic.. it was for 10 mins with 10 people.. as our discussion was not healthy in this topic
so we were given another topic in the midst, "IS MBA REQUIRED OR NOT"... always remember to speak valid points rather than shouting n suprresing sombody,s voice.. but remeber to speak it confidently bcoz even if u say sumthng wrong nobody is gonna kick u out
again God was kind enough.. got cleared wth this round as well. Lastly was interview.. more of HR & the simplest out of all rounds Initaly he made me comfortable talking to him.. as his ascent was kerala types.. then he started asking me bout which subject i m comfortable with.. from B.tech and which language
i mentioned tht i m comfortable with C/C++..
then he started asking very simple questions like various data strucures used?
wht,s d difference b/n linked list n stack?
wht is multiple inheritance?
wht r d features of OOPs?etc..
lastly he asked me a logical ques which was.. if 3-4 frnds of urs including u r sitting in a boat n u all r in a very small pool.. n suddenly we encounter tht we r getting drowned.. n after sumtime we r completely drowned... wht will be rise of water level.. wil it increase, decrease or remain same
i replied tht acc 2 me it wud remain same applying Archimedes principle..
i think my answer was wrong bcoz he said think over it it,s ur homework..
thn he asked me if suppose i m gud at sum langauge say Java n 2morrow sumbody comes to me n says he has to make his project in cobol.. wht wud i do..
aftre taking few mins for thinking, i replied Sir i wud like to convince tht person tht i wud make tht project in Java with all his spedifications n even if he doesnt get convinced by tht thn obivously i wud go for this language as there lies no probs in learning new language as job is a job..
thn he asked me if i send u Trivandrum, wud u b able 2 adjust there(i got a hint tht i m 99% selected)... and i finally cleared my interview either.. it lasted for(15-20 mins)..

I am in my sixth semester doing comp. science and engg. I attended the campus interview conducted in my coll. for US Tech. In the morining they came by about 9 45. One HR gave the ppt and our test began by 11 00. This time they had changed the pattern of questioning. Usually there are 32 ques in the first part but this time there were only 18......
An overall view is that the first section conatined 18 ques based on u r analytical reasoning. Then the next section 19-57 was the comprehension passage and some verbal reasoning. There were 5 passages ..big ones too...time comsuming...
The last section consisted of logical reasoing(58-90). the tst was for 90 min.
The results for aptitude were given by 1 30. there were 17 groups selected for gd. .....the gd was ok....they looked if u wre confident in the points u were bringing in...,make sure an argument does not break...cuz those people r not selected......then they give time for a few people to conclude.....it will be good if u conclude.....be an active meber in the gd.....don,t just start it and sit quiet.....if people r not givin u a chance then make a chance....don,t be agressive........

form a group of 8 they selected min of 4 and a max of 6. gd was over by 4 30pm. then i had to wait a long time for my interview.....cuz they had shortlisted 78 from gd....my interview was around 8 00pm. there r different types of interviews...i mean 3 were taken in simultaneoulsy and three diff people interviewed. Some had just HR...and some had deep tech ques. i had tech ques and HR....but the atmsphrer was cool....and tension free....technical wll be asked if u r comp scienc....then know u r c and c++ very wel.......also asked bout therads and all..........

The critera was 63% and no 10th and 12th there will be a apti paper of duration 1hr.. and will comprise of 3 section

Ques on time and work, boat and stream, profit and loss(succsesive discount were given have to calculate the overall discount
Section 2: English long passages....
total 4 passages were dere.. out of dem 2 were very short and two were long passages of about 1 and 1/2 pages. try attemptin 1 big passage and 1 small first and if time go for the others
Section 3: Ques frm puzzle test (r.s aggarwal non verbal)
go thru the logic chapter of r.s aggarwal non verbal its imp was asked in infy also. ques frm codin decodin
2 ques on series were given that 2 binary.....like(1,100,110,1000,1001,1010..)
Ques of rank type like (ramesh rank 5th in class frm top and 23rd from bottom so how many students)
There was individual cut for every section so try attemptin all d section..
After test 158 were shortlisted for GD Mind it GD round was (main)eliminating round

The test pattern has been changed, there r 3 sections this time
1) logical reasoning ques 20 nos(7 ques itself from pie-chart)
2) 6 passages on english, some big and some short
3) 40 to 60 aptitude questions, prepare bar-graph, coding-decoding, puzzles, seating arrangements, blood relations, logic, RS agarwals verbal & non verbal reasoning is enough
Note dont try to get all questions correct in the exams, since there is cut-off for all 3 sections and leaving any section may lead u to failure.
After test GD, during mine exam topics like, red is red, black and white, how to count coconuts in kerala, should womens day be celebrated, who will be next president, For mine its was "is the media leading the youth to right direction". Note what ever u say, say it in a flow, in style, and in confidence. Cofidence is what they mainly looking 4, dont be nervous. If u do the test in an optimum effort, there r chances to be selected, since GD is the main round where actual talents needed by them r selected. Here out of 450, 100 were selected. Frm a grp of 8 , three , four or even six may be selected.
Then interview will be mostly a partial blend of HR and tech, they will ask for ur fav sub and then ques on it, prepare, c, c++, rdbms, data structures, those frm maths , physics & chem background will be asked questions studied at their graduation level
I cleared the interview too, by the grace of god. Totally 45 got selected.

I am very happy to tel u tat I was placed in the prestigious MNC US Technology after a long struggel and it was my 9th Company.so frens dont loose hope if u hav missed few opportunities as u even need luck also.
The procedure was as below

The test was little bit lengthgy.it has 3 sections (quantz,comprehension,logical).totally there are 90 questions and time given is 60 minutes.Comprehension has 5 paragraphs in which first two are big and other three are small.quantz was very easy.Just see the clocks,time and work,profit and loss it was only 19questions.last part was logical little easy and u can do it.It consists of data intrepetation,number of circles and triangles and lines,from barrons 12th edition critical reasonong.Time will never be enough if u sit with the comprehension.the question paper will be given to you totally.first answer the quantz then logical part up to which u can and at the last twenty minutes go to comprehension.just answer 10 questions in quantz and leave.time management is very important.there will be Sectional cutt off which says that the cut off for every section will be every low so try to concentrate on all the sections.The cut off will be very low so dont worry. I got 10 out of 19 in quantz,8 out of 18 in comprehension and 32 out of 53 in logical.

The Topic will given be and one minute time to think over it . My Topic is what India should do to get globalised over China. Wat u need to do is just speak 5 or 6 points wat ever you think.dont sit quitely listen to wat others are talking.you speak wat ever you know tat is imporatant.its very easy if u speak and u hav dare to speak..you will clear.

The interview was very easy.my HR was a very frenly person and there are general questions lik tel me about urself?

Technical:
He just asked me whether I know C,dbms and so on.I told no sir i dont know anything if u lik u can answer me from my department as i am from ECE and i mentioned u can question from microprocessor.He asked about my project and i explained..very casual interview.I was succeded...............
See frens its really our luck to pass the test and from there depends on our knowledge.be confident answer with a smile.be interactive with the HR.u just tel something which u r intersted to share as u do witrh ur frens..........all the best......u can do it and u ll do it.meet u in US Tech
